A Direct Bridge to Colombia
THE TRADE
An Industry Built on Opacity
For centuries the emerald trade has been one of the least transparent in the luxury world. Stones pass through layers of middlemen between mine and market, losing their story and provenance at every exchange. By the time an emerald reaches a jeweler's case, no one can tell you where it was found, who cut it, or how many hands it passed through.
We set out to change that.
THE WORKSHOP
One Workshop in Bogotá
After months of research and travel we identified a single vertically integrated workshop in Bogotá that manages the entire journey from sourcing rough stones in Colombia's most respected mining regions to cutting, polishing, and setting each piece by hand.
One workshop, one relationship, one unbroken line from the Colombian earth to your hand.
THE REGIONS
Two Traditions of Excellence
Muzo The iconic Colombian green, deep, saturated, warm. Home to the coveted gota de aceite effect and some of the most famous emeralds ever found including the Devonshire Emerald at 1,384 carats.
Chivor A different character, cooler bluish-green tones, exceptional transparency, and a clarity that captures light from within. The oldest emerald mine in the Americas, rediscovered after two centuries of abandonment.
We source from both traditions because connoisseurship recognizes that excellence takes many forms.
"Everyone is wearing the same manufactured stone, this is for those who refuse to."
